About CoCut
In 1994, CoCut became the world’s first vinyl-cutting plug-in for CorelDRAW. It eliminated for the first time the need to export CorelDRAW designs and import them (often with problems) into sign-making software that cost thousands of dollars and lacked the power, ease-of-use and extensive font library that CorelDRAW offered. Imitators quickly followed, but none came close to the quality and popularity of CoCut, which remains to this day the world’s best and best selling vinyl cutting plug-in for CorelDRAW.
Soon after, users of Adobe Illustrator wanted the same ease-of-use and error-free cutting in a fraction of the time it takes to export/import—and in 1998, CoCut delivered with additional plug-ins for Illustrator. Next came support for FreeHand, and then AutoCAD support was added to CoCut Pro. As a result, no other software supports more design applications, has more loyal users or does more than CoCut.
Fast forward to today: after 17 years of continual improvement, CoCut is, by far, the number one-selling vinyl cutting plug-in in America, despite being sold and supported from Germany. So the time had come for sales and support of the best-selling plug-in in America to be located in America.
And thus was born, CoCut USA, in Seattle, where, yes, it rains ALL THE TIME!
